Thrift Store Finds | The Olympus XA2

35mm.jpg

I started a while ago going to thrift shops finding 35MM cameras getting them working and shooting film. It’s been a lot of fun, but i’ve wanted to share some of my finds. This camera was still in good working order when I found it! It was only $5.99. There is always a risk when it comes to shooting film, but every once in a while you get lucky and it all still works as planned. The little research I did on this camera before shooting I noticed that people were getting one of two things, blurry images or pretty sharp images. I lucked out and this thing still takes great pictures. I’ll for sure be using it more especially with how little it is! Here are some of the sample photos take from the first roll. Shot with some portra 400:

This thing is a rad little point and shoot and worth the risk for sure. If you ever see one in your thrift store it might be worth the risk!

This next set was shot with Tri X 400. I was really happy with a lot of shots from our walk around town.
